How to get to Mayalay Beach Resort

 

Getting To Trang

Koh Ngai is one of the islands in Koh Lanta National Park, Lanta District, Krabi, The most inconvenience transportation is getting to Pakmeng Pier in Trang.

By Car

Route 1: Take Highway No. 4 (Bangkok - Chumphon) to Highway No. 41 (Surat Thani - Thung Song - Huai Yot - Trang). Total distance is 828 kilometers.

Route 2: Take Highway No. 4 (Bangkok - Chumphon) to Ranong - Phang Nga - Krabi - Trang. Total distance is 1,020 kilometers.

By Bus

From Bangkok: Air conditioned buses depart from the Southern Bus Terminal in Bangkok to Trang every day. The journey takes 12 hours. For more information, please call 0-2435-1199-200 or Sappaisal Tour (Transport Co. in Trang) call at 075-218-718.

By Train

From Bangkok: Rapid and express trains depart from Hua Lamphong Railway Station in Bangkok to Trang daily at 5.05 p.m. and 6.20 p.m. taking 15 hours for the 870-kilometer trip. For more information, please visit www.railway.co.th

By Air

Flight connection to Trang is made through Don Muang Airport by Nok Air and One-To-Go which operates 4 flights daily from Bangkok to Trang and from Trang to Bangkok. For more information please visit www.nokair.com, www.fly12go.com

However, Mayalay Beach Resort can also be reached by flying to Krabi International Airport, Phuket International Airport and Had Yai International Airport where other overseas and domestic airlines fly daily from Bangkok.

 

Getting To Mayalay Beach Resort

Getting to Thapwarin Resort, Koh Ngai. Mayalay Beach Resort organize join-in transfer service from Trang Airport/ Town to the Mayalay Beach Resort.
Remark: We will pick you up from the airport in the morning and drop you off at Thapwarin Sales office in Trang. Then, the van leaves the town at 11.30 a.m. after collecting all passengers and the boat will leave Pakmeng Pier at 12.30 p.m.

  • The departure time might be change subject to the weather.

  • During green season, there is no join boat service available.

  • Price are subjected to change due the circumstance.

  • Because of low tide when arrival, please wear proper clothes and shoes because sometimes the boat can't go directly to the beach so guests have to walk into the water which isn't so high. So, Mayalay Beach Resort recommends shorts and slippers are required.
